If you just go to peak power, then when you change gear you will be right out of the 'power'.

The F10 gearbox means if you change at 6k RPM, it is still gonna be at 3kRPM when you change up

You both have the same gearboxes. F10WR. Engines may be different. One maybe the C12NZ, one may be the X12SZ

taken from my prvious post

12NZ, C12NZ idle at 840-1000rpm
X12SZ idle at 820-980rpm
Max power is 45BHP
max power on 12NZ and C12NZ is at 5000rpm
Max power on X12SZ is at 4600rpm

Maximum torque for all 3 engines is at 2800rpm.

The engine code is stamped on the cylinder head

mine hits the limiter in 2nd about 55mph, prob about 5K. I find it pulls best if ya change about 50 to 3rd, 75 to 4th and 85 to 5th. But lets be fair its not pulling all that well at all!!

You cannot hit the limiter in 5th. It is an overdrive gear. Top speed for the 1.2 is attained in 4th, and your speedo is incorrect. Most you will get is 100-105mph.

I dont think you have the correct loom because its a Merit. You may have to source a loom from at least an LS spec first, then get dials from an SRi.

I've had over 100mph on my clocks on the flat.
