Has anyone had any problems with there Air flow meters after fitting an aftermarket cone type induction kit to there corsa?? I have heard that the oil used in the induction kits can get into the air flow meter causing it to fuck up????????

i heard that after a long while with induction kits and stuff it does fuck something up on your car (carnt rember exactly but it could be that air flow meter)

yeah, apparently they can damage the mass air flow meter, don't know how exactly.

mine started running a little rough with a pipercross, juddered when pulling off etc, put air box back in, drilled it just a lil, chopped out the inside pointless bits and it, makes it rumble more than induction roar which i like more, runs so much smoother and hasn't lost any power.
