can find some cheap ones on ebay now and again. i got mine from there for 15 quid

how shit is the standard filter in the airbox compared to like a k&n performance panel filter?

Seriously, this thread has been posted about 50,000 times.

Before posting "what does it do?" try looking around: there's a perfectly good thread, set-up specifically for this.

As for cheap airfilters..buy one. have your fun for about 10 mins then realise its wank.

..or just go out and buy a filter that will last you.

i was asking about a performance panel filter which goes inside the standard airbox replacing the standard filter

my airbox is already drilled etc

kk, so whats the cheapest, but most high quality. I have noticed some on Ebay that look like people have made them using an empty tube of toilet roll with pencil holes in it! I was finkin more along the lines of K&N or summit.....
