max poo filters will not filter to GM spec. you will put your engine at risk

Filtration could be quite bad, never tested one of those tbh so I can't say for sure but using the correct grade of foam/foams is very important to get good airflow whilst still keeping up the filtration.

If you really want to go for a cheap and nasty filter, get a cotton-gauze one. That's the only kind of cotton filter I'd recommend as you can just replace the whole thing every six months when it's dirty and buy a new one.

For foam filters, stick to tried and tested UK made filters
