Right:........
You might have read the previous post last week:
1.6 16v C16XE engine
Mantzel
Forged Pistons
Stage 2 Head
Lighteend and balanced bottom end
polished and ported
piper-x filter
piper fast road cams
chip (mantzel i think)?
when cold its fine, leave it a couple of mins as it warms up it dies down and sounds like a galloping noise if that makes sense , i took it out last week on the road and back and had a misfire also at bottom end,
i have so far replaced:
Lambda Sensor
idle control valve (icv)
temp coolant sensor
borrowed an ecu incase my chip was being dodgy
air flow meter
thermostat
plugs
plug leads
I have done a peper clip test a couple of times after its been running, nothing came up, then left the battery lead off in the day tried at night still nothing came up when i tried.
Totally out of suggestions now, anyone able to help?
Got to get to belgium in 2 weeks to a show and at this rate the car wont make it

fuel rail? perhaps there is a blockage. also might want to check fuel pressure. if its when engine is warm, perhaps its the high idle from cold that is stopping it from stalling, but as soon as the auto choke flicks off, its dieing of starvation

@ sledgehammer im thinking the same at the min mate
someone mentioned on Mig it may be a seal on one of the injectors, as they had the same kind of problem, surely worth giving it a go and fitting a new set.
