I have just been putting the standard injection back on my xe and its not running right. I am not using the fuel pump relay and wire just now, it drives but idle is bad. Is this the problem? the actual relay is not working right i dont think as i cant get a live from the wire anymore. Will look at it when i am next onshore.

pretty sure it needs the relay to get right signals from ecu

fuel pump relay also has an affect of some sort on the spark i believe

any idea how much a new relay is at cost price from vauxhall? Or does anyone know if there the same as the 2.0 8v relays or that? Back onshore today so will hope to be having a look.

Arent the relays in the engine bay, about 20quid i thought, prone to fecking up as well, they often cut out....a bloke on mig added a resistor to his to cure the cutting out problem.
