Author dextron 2 in 1.0 12V gearbox?

Just had new LuK clutch fitted, they told me the gearbox oil was low and he's refilled it with dextron 2. It drives OK and the shift is smooth, but is dextron 2 suitable for that gearbox?
Am I going to end up with premature gearbox wear?
