I am stuck for getting a sensible response from anywhere else, so i am picking the brains of you luvverly bunch of peeps.
my daughter has a motor (a Four Track to be precise) i took the cd/radio out of her old escort and fitted it in her four track and it works perfectly, UNTIL the lights are switched on, then the radio goes OFF.
what the hell have i done, the speaker cables are correct, the 12v permanent goes direct to the battery, the 12v switched and the illumination and the memory wires go to the 12v switched as well, the earth wire goes to EARTH, a wire that reads earth on my multimeter anyway, perhaps i should wire this direct to the battery as well, this is the only thing that could possibly be wrong, what does anybody else think please.

A tricky one, you might be best trying www.talkaudio.co.uk more experts on there, maybe get a quicker response.
