compared to what reagal charge you for the same engine (anyware between £500 to £800 i think his prices are quite good, plus £300 is cheap for a f28, have seen them go for £600 on mig

my plans for car over winter are:
put on std 15s (no grip whatsoever on 17s)
check all fluids (especially PAS fluid as its making a funny noise)
goin into bodyshop in jan/feb to get a few scratches sorted and a bad boy bonnet

whay off the mark matey anyone who is dealing with XE's will tell you they are becomming rarer by the day hence why prices have risen, 450 for a complete XE is the goin rate and £1500 is the goin rate for a LET. As for the f28 box they go for much more than 300 Not like they are that common these days? some bloke was tryng to sell his rebilt one for near enough 1K on here not so long ago.

There are loads of XE on mig for £300-£400. XE's wont run out for a fair while yet!!

LET, rubbish Fads, £1500 for a standard LET taken out of a car and sold on is a very very high price. A standard LET with F28 should cost about that. Without gearbox, £1200 odd for the engine on its own.

And that bloke was trying to sell his F28 for £700 and he got slated big time for it.

F28's though go from £220-£300
