1.6xel everything for under the bonnet all the way to the rubber plug in the bulk

with the red/green wire in the first pin?

you need to move that into the 6th pin from the right.



thats all you need to do on the ecu end. if you post up some pics of the inside of the multiplugs (large blue plugs on the engine side) ill tell you what you need to do with them.

post pics of both the 1.4 and 1.6 loom.

whats stopping the 1.4 loom going into the 1.6 ecu? is it the 'fins' on the plug? if so, shave them off with a knife.

right lighting is shite there are three orange plugs on coming on the loom from the bulk one on the injectors piece an another on the same loom as the alternator wiring

yes, you can use the 1.4 loom as long as you have the engine side as well.

you will have to use the knock sensor plug off the x16xel loom tho as the one for the 1.4 will be different. cut it off and re-solder it onto the 1.4 loom.

ok also seens as though your spot on with knowledge i have the chip to go wiv ecu will the stanard sender from my 14 be ok you know what ever pics up the signal from the chip
