mate of mines just got a new steering wheel got it fitted etc but hes got no horn due to the fact the boss doesnt fit up with the connection thing..... what is the name of this part ?.... also does it mean he has the wrong boss for his car...... or can u buy a boss that u dont need this part and can connect it through the boss ?

You need to get thr right boss for the steering wheel.

use the connection plate from a non air bag model that will give you the indicator cancelling then you need to run a wire from the orange plug to the horn on the boss
