Does anyone have one of these.

I want to change the horn on my Corsa C, i got a new horn today (half of the vectra twin horn) and it sounds a bit crap. I want a horn which sounds like a BMW or Mercedes horn but i've only got 1 wire going to the horn so i don't think i can power a twin horn.

Where can i get an air horn? What do they sound like? How are they powered?

But............. Did the halfords horn work from the button on your steering wheel ? Or did you have a new button somewhere?

Cut the wires to ur original horn and run the wires fromthe original horn to the wee compressor that cums wi the air horn. uprate fuse to about a 20A as it may pop. Job Done

I'll go down halfords later and see what they do in the way of air horns then. Cheers guys. Ps does the air horns make a low pitched "BMW" noise? Or a gay noise?

yes,

i have musical air horns, just for the pure cheese, they start around 45 quid and a company called in pro make them, they sell alsorts of stuff, i think deamon tweeks can get hold of them

truck/ice cream van ones can be bought on the internet, ice cream ones cost a bomb!

anything can be wired up2 your horn

u must have a single/dual tone horn to pass MOT

and dont beep from 11pm - 7am in a recidential area - its illegal u know

ps - 3 or more tomes aint legal either
