its on my mates nova sr.... 1.4 8v and he's selling so he said if it fits u can buy it... so i need a definate answer...

is the gte and gsi different?

u will need a lambda sensor on the manifold. the sr manifold will fit but it wont work with ur engine as the sr is carbed n doesnt need a lambda sensor

the gte/gsi r both multipoint injection. the only nova exhaust that will fit ur car directly is the sri manifold or the later gsi's.

single downpipe on the 1.2 8v's as far as im aware. so the gsi downpipe etc wouldnt fit

Cat can be ditched. The lambda sensor just screws into the manifold somewhere. All you need to do is drill a hole and have a nut welded on to it so you can screw the lambda sensor in.

On Reason i ask is the down pipe on the 8v cars is like a the same diamiter as a bloody hose pipe, and a nasty acst Iron manifold just after sometjing that might give me at least a little more power and maybe a little bit more noise from the exhausts.
