my engine light came on so i went to the vaux garage to see what was wrong, it read 02 sensor voltage high, its was around 1000 and its only meant to be around 500, what would cause this? dodgy wiring!!!!

Voltage high? Never heard that fault before... It will be a resistance problem in the wiring, something might be shorting out because a wire has frayed or the PVC casing has melted?
