You need to experiment mate, its the only way of wiring it up yourself. If I could get my hands on the motors etc, i'd have butchered it by now to find out what does what.

Could you take a picture of the door loom and all the motors etc, so I have an idea of what Im looking at, then maybe I could help you.

You got a scanner?

Seriously though, is it THAT simple to wire up yourself if you have a haynes book? If so, then I look forward to trying this.

right ok. this is a rough guide as i havent fully chercked it, just blagged my way through the diagram

5 wires into the car from each door.
Driver side
Brown - from both switches join inside door, then go to car chassis
Blue/red - goes to blue red/ on assenger side
Grey/Green - Grey/green on passenger side
Black - ignition live (i think lose the diagram here)
Red - through fuse 28

Passenger side
Blkue/red - driver blue red
Black - as before
Grey/green - driver grey green
Red - as before

hope this helps. once again its not definate, havent tried this, just lookin at a book. if u die, dont blame me

rather than going from the battery use the aux ignition wire, this reads 12v on a multimeter when igntion is in the postion before crank (powers radio etc) connect the negative to part of the chasis, saves threading wires through the rubber gromet to the battery lol !
rest of the wires should go into the switch and one for ilumination into the headlamp stalk, alot of faffing about basicly lol.
glad me pugs got lecky windows
