started 2 weeks ago getting them bonded together as they are going green

need some speakers b4 i can start building the pods, no idea what ones i want (2 ways with seperate tweeters i think) and run them off the head unit

was gonna get comps but can i run them off headunit or do i HAVE to use an amp? do the crossovers need powering also?

might re-handel them with something else, off to ikea to have a look

take the grill bit off from the door pockets and build some pods.

could always build a pod for the cross over behind the speaker in the door pocket bit.

its 2k paint

these are getting sprayed (already have done them green but now adding bottom door pocket)

foam saves time, better then f/g large ammounts

all u do is fill with foam, let it set over night, sand it back (VERRRRRY HARD STUFF) and then lay a bit ofmat over it, cheaper and easier

i did it before by building the pods into the door pocket, and then screwing the speaker ontop of the pod, but looked gash.

i thought about building a kinda lip round the 'MDF' bit that you srew the speaker to, and meshing this so you can push it in/pull it out if you need to get to the speaker. that way its all smooth.

ive got alpine components, and you dont have to amp them. will sound better supposedly, but i havnt. but ive got a crossover in my headunit, dont know about seperate units.

i think defo take the pocket off the door and build two speakers into the door with the bigger one where one is now and a smaller on 13cm? further along.

Maybe change the handle for something very differnt?
