getting an xe conversin and been told it is good to replace dizzy cap and arm and plugs. but what are they and how much they cost?

cap and arm are about £20
plugs about £20
leads about £20

decent leads are about £100
plugs are £1 each on trade club i believe


they're all parts of the ignition system
plugs ignite the mixture, and the dizzy components distribute the spark to the relevant chambers once that cylinder has compressed mixture inside it.

leads are normally fine, unless you find otherwsie, leave them alone

A Bosch cap will set you abck about 36 and arm £4
Plug are abotu 5-10 a set.

There's a few different caps depending on whether it's from an Astra or a Cav/Calibra. Different length turrets and stuff.
