Basically, i think i know whats caused it, i jet washed the engine bay yesterday, left the car running but ofcourse, it didnt like it!
After washing it out, i had a little problem starting it up, then it ran fine! Left the car last night for a few hours whilst at a mates, came to go home and it wouldn't start, eventually bump started it, then after taking it for a spin it started first time, several times just to check it was all ok!
Now its done the same as last night and i've no one all day to help me bump it off. I've left a hair dryer next to the starter/solenoid as im suspecting i've maybe got water in there as i've wd40'd all the connectors i can see.
When i turn the keys, all the ignition lights come on, battery is fine, lights are bright.........but when i turn to start, not even a ticking noise, just silence!
I duno what to do apart from stick with the hair dryer!

Anyone have any ideas, please!? Would a paper clip test bring anything up even with no ECU light on?

Battery is fine, radio works, lights are bright as fcuk! Think water has managed to get into the starter/solenoid but how i don't know as it should be sealed.
I'm peed off!
Cant work out how it struggled yesterday, then ran fine and started fine, now its dead again!
Its dizzy type

Check the crank sensor. I had a huge crack in the casing on mine and it let in water. That made it misfire when it was wet/damp. It always started though but if its totally drenched and not working at all it might not start.

get someone to to turn the key and hit the starter motor with a bar or somthing, sounds like the starter solenoid is not doing its job.
