will i notice the difference if i lower my corsa? its got 15" alloys and i dont want to change the shocks so would it be worth just gettin a 40mm/35mm drop?
i heard from my mechanic that it can mess up the angles of other suspension components and cause problems
does it actually change handling and the ride?
cheers

Yea do it, drop it 40mm, should stiffen up the ride and be visibally lower, you can get away with a small drop using standard shocks, but any lower and you ought to be looking at uprated shocks...

it will affect suspension geometry.
However having had it done after its settled get the tracking checked.
Everything else wont cause any problems!

Be a hard ride though, mines lowered 40mm on 16s and its rough as fuck, my astra was lowered 50mm on 17s and that was bloody awful, handled shit too! was much better on the 15s so i imagine the bigger tyre walls make a big difference!

Make sure you get it tracked afterwards and it will be OK.
It does change the geometry but not by so much that its a problem.
