just rang up for a quote

call was something like this towards the end

"right, i want to insure and astra sri 1.8"

"okey, vich model?"

"sri"

"ees not showing up on my computer"

"ok, what is?"

"i cant tell you, you have to tell me"

"i dont know what your computer says though, am i supposed to guess or something?"

"no, i have 4 options on my coputer, you ave to tell me vich one eet is you want"

"sorry, i cant understand your accent at all, can i speak to someone who doesnt speak hindi?, and who is more helpful, can i have your name please?"

"my name is gupinder, and if you want to talk to someone english, you'll have to hang up and try again, thankyou for calling, good day to you sir"


i'm not normally racist, but she was a complete fuckwit, and didnt understand what i wanted

i know, is dodgy ground, i can't stand it, telephone manner and clarity should be upmost important when selecting suitable people for those jobs, most of them do speak with foriegn accent, i don't think its right

i found this too when changing some bits on my policy, rung up 3 times and spoke 2 a welsh person every time, bloody call centres in cardiff

admiral put me throught to adrian flux, who put me through to NUD, which takes the piss a bit

i just did it online in the end, much easier, as my pc has a strong, well spoken english accent

whenever i ring up norwich union to change my policy there is always some retarded hindi. it is so hard to understand them and they dnt have a clue about anything

exactly, i wanted 4 quotes, for 4 different cars, and she obviously couldnt be arsed to do it, cos she kept sighing and stuff, and she didnt have a clue what she was on about, i rang again, and spoke to a really helpful english bloke, and he sorted me 2 quotes no probs, but the other 2 i had to do online
