Author taking off brake drums....

i am trying to get my brake drums off to paint them but there is a clip there keeping the nut on. how do i get this off and do i ned to put it back when im finished. Thanks

onceyou can see the hub nut take out the slip pin and throw it away,you'll have to use a new one once your putting back on the drum.

slacken it then slide off the nut,and then the washer and then take off the outer bearing from the centre off the drum.
