Hi,
I am over in USA and went to see my friends who work in a audio store over here.
The guy is going to sell me a Zapco ZPA 3.0 XD amp for only $350 as he has had it sitting round for 2 years. The MSRP is over $900.
Now i have heard that this is an amazing amp, the sort that gets used in the best installs.
Now i have a Focal 33A 13" sub and this is what would be powering it.
I cant find much about this paticular amp on the net but i have found the companys website.
So what i am asking is if anyone thinks this is a good deal and if its what i need to power my sub.
Thanks in advance for your time

I wouldnt say it was the best of amps for running a sub though.
The current version of that amp is the C2K 3.0, these are the specs
Stereo, 4 ohms: 2x150 Watts
Stereo, 2 ohms: 2x300 Watts
Bridged, 4 ohms: 1x600 Watts
T.H.D. + Noise: <0.015%
Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20kHz; +0 dB/-0.32 dB
S/N Ratio: >100dB
I wouldnt imagine the specs of the amp you are on about are far off this.

The guy wouldnt stop going onabout how amazing they are.
Only doubt is that it has been sitting on the audio bord for 2 years not even wired up collecting dust.
Any other opinions?
