My boot won't lock or unlock? It's stuck in horizontal position ie --.

Try forcing the key the wrong way and then in the same movement (not that that makes sense) twist the normal way

Mine always stuck in the vertical position and if i put the key in and give it a quick jig to the left and then turn as normal smoothly to the right it opens.

No central locking, good old brute force sovled it. Now just got some rattles to find...
