atm occasionally on start up it will just die, or idle at around 500rpm, other days it's fine.

Some days it will be crap on start up but fine once warm, others itl be fine on start up and then if im going a steady speed down the road, it'l start being jumpy.

fuel pump relay
coolant temperature sensor

where abouts are these? Any pics showing them?

Also my management light will come on about once a week now for 5 secs

1.4 16v? wil prob be IGR valve mine did this

where is the IGR valve? Found it before but have forgot

isnt a cool runnign thermstat just a LET one anyway, so you pay £80 for one where vaux will sell it for £30, or am i wrong

Donor car it came from had been sat on a drive for about a year, 100k plus on clocks. Bumped it and drove it home without missing a beat.


Well technically mine had just been treated to a full rebuild... but yeah they're great!!

changed the fuel pump relay which has fixed it randomly cutting out. Changed the cts today and it still isnt running right Sever lack of power, 70-90 takes about 10/15 seconds :S
