Take box off, undo clutch bolts... job done, just bolt new clutch on and re attach the box

does it matter how you bolt on the clutch or is there some sort of alighment?

you aline the pressure plate with the flywheel, there should be a mark on both i belive

aaah i see, will go take a look later, need to tighten the sump nut as my mum is complaining about the oil. how much does a clutch alighment thing cost?

i paid £10 for my clutch alighnment tool.

i got hold of one of the alighment tools, aint got a problem fitting the clutch, but i cant see any alignment marks, does this matter?

you have to align the clutch with the pressure plate so its dead in the middle its bascially so the box goes on right. there will be no marks on it probably only one saying 'flywheel side' on it

btw if the only reason youve had the box off is to do the clutch you didnt need to

nah i havent fitted the engine yet, came in two parts, but the clutch wasnt fitted. have sorted the clutch now, just need a new release bearing, anyone got one?

So u can do the clutch on the car without taking the g/b out? what did you do instead, take the engine out??
