the lad I got my engine off of had the lump (with 64k fvsh) run on semi synthetic, and nothing done to it but induction kit and stainless bbox tested at 115bhp, does anyone know if this is good? how can I gain a couple of horses and wot kinda performance can I get? i had it redlining at 98mph in 3rd gear when I had the engine in b4? i just wanna be able to tease a few of my mates who have ripped the 1200 for ages

thats good power for jus tthe induction kit and back box, for more power u need a new inlet then ull be on abour 120-130 with a remap, then a exhaust manifold, then u get serious stuff like head work cams etc! or throttle bodies and dta

mine made 114bhp - 122lb/ft with just a decat and full SS exhaust.

I don't think a C16XE will do 98 in 3rd. The ratios are short and very close together. Mine on the limiter in 4th manages about 105

Checked mine also 80mph in 3rd @ 6500rpm

erm.... cams, head work, viper, lexmaul inlet, remap, fse boost valve(waste of time) 4-2-1 stainless manifold, cat back system, and since power run, decat and magnecore ht leads as old leads were fucked up
