how do you increse the fuel pressure on a 16sport engine is it a difficult job, and how do you know if its running to leand or rich? Suppose a rr tune would tell wouldnt it?

yeah i beleive the fuelling is good on them til about 140bhp? but tell me this what happens when we put a differnt inlet manifold on and its taking in a lot more air but the fuel isnt incresed? as far as i know the standard ECU is semi intelligent and so can re-adjust itself after an engine mod has been done, is this true on the corsa

I've seen two C16XE go above 155bhp running just mantzel boxes, mantzel superchip, lexmaul manifold, cat back exhaust, induction kits.

With 16" wheels in 5th gear and an F15 1,000rpm = 20mph. So I could do 160mph if I had the power.

So I suppose 135mph at 6750 is right...

Well i would say mantzel if ya had a C16XE engine as you gain 22bhp and only 20bhp with velos, but cos you got a X16XE there aint no point spending the extra cash for a mantzel which gains the same as a velos 20BHP, if ya get me????
A mantzel chip is a superchip with a few tweeks its mapped to run better than a normal suerchip and to run perfectly with the power box.

Kris have u heard of any reliability, or ecu problems with the corsas once tuned, like funny electrics, blowing head gaskets etc? as i believe theyre a good strong engine. i had a 106gti and all i ahd on it was a magnex and decat and it blew head gasket and the electrics in it had a mind of theyre own car revin by itself that sort of thing. Hope the corsa would be more reliable

Had the car R/R twice, the graphs have been posted on here think vibrio has a copy. Need to get an uprated fuel pump cause the fuel supply is sometimes dodgy at high revs

Only problem iv had was the EGR valve clogging up which is a pain in the tits and causes the engine management light to keep coming on, would ideally get the EGR system removed

GRRRRRR, i doubt very much that you can hit the limiter on the F13 gearbox unless its pushing over 180bhp
