HELP! The camber on my car is way off!
My wheels are sitting like this...

/_/.........\_\

... and the insides of my 4 month old tyres are on the metal already.
Im running the FK highsport -60mm kit, with 6.5x15" Kahns, et 35 & 195/45 rubber.
Tracking has been done recently for MOT.

Ive been recommended these:
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue/product_detail.asp?CLS=ROAD&TLGRP=R003&CODE=WHICB&PGRP=RP038&GRP=RP038&PCODE=WHIKCA410
as an alternative to Regal's kit http://www.regal-shop.co.uk/asps/ShowDetails.asp?id=1219 , which at £85, is pretty steep!

Has anyone ever used the whiteline kit, and/or know what size of bolts I'd need to order?
Or any other ideas..?

Im now off to order some new Toyo's...

Any help muchly appreciated, cheers.

No help to you at all but I have the same suspension kit and I also have some negative camber but my wheels are ET49 so that’s maybe why I haven’t got any excessive tyre wear. Down to the metal in 4 months is shocking though!

i resume yer talkjing about the front here?

u need to set the camber correctly

u cant just push the hubs full in or pull them fully out

the top hole of the 2 bolts that secure them is elongated.

loosen the two bolts so that there only hand tight then move the wheel hub with yer hands till the top bolt is in the middel of the elongated hole and then tighten it up.

yer tracking will be miles out after doing this so u will nee to adjust this aswell.

this crap is hard to explain and made worse by the fact that i'm really bad at explaining things

i have highsports on mine and ive had these in and out of the car about 15 times

My car has nearly two degrees neagtive camber, and thats just down 40mm.

Apparently, adjustable top mounts aren't suitable for road use, but I wouldn't know for sure. Also, Toyos are a soft compound tyre IIRC, thats why I go for something like Avons of BFGs, harder compound lasts longer

Pain in the arse this suspension thing, I know

Cheers chaps...

it was a reputable garage that did the tracking, and yeah, they told me the camber was bad.

Nightmare like.

YES! it is i've had these things in and out an and in and out with helper spring without helper spring.

the main problem i have is that if i want the car low i havta ajsut the cable positive so the handling is awfull.

on the other hand i can get the handling great but the the car looks like a tractor at the front

i have some bits coming next week should sort this once and for all
