Speak to Midas Styling, they done the same thing to a Pug - but its on the Lambo door conversion... They can probably point you in the right direction on where to get the bits from to do the bonnet...

i asked rich at midas about this, and he said it would be a bad idea really, as although the lifters are strong if you accidently pop it at 100mph it's just gunna lift up into your windscreen

yeh i get what u mean, so say you...
1.push a button to pop the release clip
2.push a second button to pop the bonnet up so the lifters can take action.
3.hyrdaulics lifters slowly lift the bonnet into the air.

yea good point, but it can easierly be solved....like wiring the handbreak cable (ie: the connection you would use for motorised HU screens) to the circuit. That way, you have to have the handbreak on before you can lift the bonnet Not hard to do and would be on the button side of stuff

hummm..... I have some INXX chrome bonner lifters and if you let go of them they go up really really powerfuly, you have to hold the bonnet while it goes up, otherwise it wacks back and my corsa almost does a backflip, lol !
