I've got heavy 6*9's on a standard parcel shelf and the boot doesn’t stay open, are they any after market heavy duty boot struts available. Or shall I Just replace them with new standard struts..

Or just disconnect your parcel shelf from the boot (ie. let the supporting-string hang down into the boot, or even remove it completely).

Mine actually closes the boot......heavy 6x9s in a heavy stealth shelf. Which is why I disconnected the supporting strings.
