anyone put the lifters on the back?? i need to replace my current lifters but would prefer to get some shiny one's like the bonnet lifters | |

I was thinkin of buying another set of bonnet lifters and puttin them on the boot, they look like the same fitment. | |

Boot would be heavier then bonnet wouldn’t it? Ever tried opening a boot without the lifters?!? | |

oh ok .. was thinking maybe using the bonnet struts on the boot but didnt know if they fitted and work | |

Mine actually closes the boot......heavy 6x9s in a heavy stealth shelf. Which is why I disconnected the supporting strings. | |

Or just disconnect your parcel shelf from the boot (ie. let the supporting-string hang down into the boot, or even remove it completely). | |

I've got heavy 6*9's on a standard parcel shelf and the boot doesn’t stay open, are they any after market heavy duty boot struts available. Or shall I Just replace them with new standard struts.. |
