a few months ago. my engine management light came on constantly. never ever went off whilst the engine was on. now... its not comin back on. the car is working still. wat could have happened? replacin an egr valve is like a 90quid job. does it mean my egr valve wasnt gone and now the ECU has released after all this time its ok???

Take off the egr and blank it off  and if the engine management light isnt on forget about it
