Guys,
Got a problem and wonder if you have any answers.
Still putting an engine in my L-reg 1.5TD (isuzu) and am hoping to put in the 1.7TD isuzu engine.Maybe able to get an engine from an N-reg vectra (isuzu) but would like to know if there are any immobilizer issues to be worried about or will it work straight off the car when transplanted?
Thanx

Adam waiting for your post, BubbleVaux, what if I use the pump from the 1.5 engine would it still matter? dino due to some tech stuff am having to use the inlet manifold etc but definitely look into the turbo for you.Not to sure as I'm sure I read somewhere you'd have to use the 1.5 TD on account of the intercooler etc but definitely bear that in mind.

That age of vectra has a transponder. Think that if U swap over the fuel cut off solenoid from the 1.5 onto the 1.7 then it should work.
