I know my ICV needs cleaning/replaceing, i just want to know if dodgy ICV would cause the engine management light to come on? My car has been idleing badly for weeks but this morning the light came on for the first time?

DO PAPERCLIP TEST AND FIND OUT

Cool, was 90% sure it did but was just checking, how hard was it to get to your ICV and clean it?

my corsa is havin exact same problem. how do i sort it out WITHOUT the haynes manual.

clean the Idle control valve and me thinks you will need a haynes

nah
dont need haynes for this
piece of piss

take header tank off
then disconnect fuel lines
then unbolt the 2 lil screws holdin it on
make sure ya unplug the icv

:d
