ah ha, thought it was that part, its clearly her fault as everyone knows that they've gotta give way there and ive never known anybody not to, dont suppose you have any one in your car with you or any witnesses(workmates etc..)

well make sure u report it to the police its crucial your insurance co will ask for this, then make sure u go to see her asap so u can get her insurance details and seeing as she is to blame it shouldnt take too much contesting.

when her insurance co rings u say they want to fix the car specify u wanna use your own body shop as you only trust them etc and if u have any kit of summing you wanna put on the car, sort a little deal with em sorted

hope it dnt get written off was commin along nicely

I had a quy do exactly the same to me on a roundabout. Totally his fault, went straight into the side of my and spun me round. He didnt even look before he came out onto roundabout.

Guess what, he still denied his fault and contested it. He totally changed the story/situation.

After 3 months of battling, i got my car fully repaired, at his expense. They realised, with my photographic evidence, that their insured was totally to blame, and that he was also a lying cunt.

The car: a 1993 1.2 8v worth around £1k. The repairs: £1900

Well chuffed . Car got a full re-respray near enuff, looked like new. 2 months later i sold it, and got more than enuff for it.

Matt

PS: moral of this post, get ur evidence together asap, and act fast. well done for going to cops, but get as much photographic evidence together as poss, the scene, the damage (from all angles), and 3-5 bodyshop quotes. Write up a fully convincing statement, and use diagrams etc. Be cocky. It's blatently their fault, u'll be OK

/\/\/\ Exact same thing happened to me 3 months ago and the damage was exactly the same as what this woman has done, also i had exactly the same thing happen again in a safe way car park too.
The accident 3 months ago with exacly the same damage even wheels etc cos £4000 to repair that was on an m-reg GSI valued at £4500, the only problem you got is that a car park is private land and normal road laws do not apply so be carful all is not as it seems. i won my case cos i took loads of pictures and kept on at them it took about 4 months to sort!!!!
good luck buddy i am an insurance genius i have deal with them so much never lost a case yet lol, even ripped off a company building a new bypass and got a full set of alloys cos i blamed them for damagin mine, i even hit someones dog and they paid the £800 to fix me care hehe

Witnesses are so good they carnt argue if ya got them, i had a lorry clip my car while i was sat in it parked in a parking space i was so shocked i didnt have time to stop him he drove off, so as if a miracle had happened i had 2 witnesses from my gf work, sounds like you got a solid case its just annoying waiting the 2-3 months for the money to come through

M8 the car will NOT be a right off.

I got hit about 5 weeks ago and the damage was near on identical. Had to hav new 3/4 new stub and axle, new alloy and new skirt.
Damage cost £1800 to repair all done.
