a spare tyre is not apart of an mot even if it is bald as your dad never is the rear wiper. u dont have to have a spare tyre as vx220 dont have a spare it just has a can of tyre weld. if u do have a bald tyre in your spare and u get pulled by a police man in a bad mood they can do u for intent 2 drive with a bald tyre coz they c it as if u were to have a puncture u would put your bald tyre on.

No its false. Theres no law agains the carrying of bald tyres within a car. They would have to PROVE intent to use it.

spare is nothing to do with MOT. but the law states the spare tyre must be of lawfull tread, but the isnt a law to say you have to have a spare wheel at all.

this id ue to the fact if you have a spare that is bauld, get a flat, and swop it you are now breaking the law.

hope this helps

But what if you are taking said bald tyre to the garage? You could have a van with 50 bald tyres in it. They would have to prove your intent to use it!

how can u be done for carrying a bald tyre? thats like carrying a bottle of alcohol in your car and being arrested for drink driving

law states u can only be done for a bald tyre IF its on the car. full stop
