How much money we talking here? He bought some bits off me a while ago and all seemed fine? I work as High Court Bailiff Depending how much it is you could send it up to high court BUMP up the charges allong the way and he could see a high court writ for a LOT more than the original amount if you really wanted to piss him off!! It will cost you to sue him though...

it ain't the amount it's the principal of it, this is the route i would take as it would cost him a shed load more in the long run, my ex neighbour was a bailiff he had some cracking stories to tell .

If its been sent Recorded, get the Recorded Delivery number off him. This will tell you if its accidently been delivered elsewhere, or if they've tried to deliver it and you've missed it

people like this need to learn the hard way. cannot believe he cashed the cheque in the first place!

You need to take action mate, teach him a lesson.

It annoys me seeing people gettin ripped off like this!

speak to your local citizens advice beurau over the phone, report the theft to the police and pick a small claims courts form up from your local county court.
it will cost you a tenner to submit the form, then he will be given 2 weeks to pay the sum.if he fails to pay then i believe you can add expenses and pay for a bailif to collect the money+bailifscost+cost of claim forms. citizens advice should fill you in on the proceedings.
btw watch bailifs on bbc1 this week to see how much costs they add onto the bill for non payment

i also think he should be banned from this site as he is a regular poster on the forums but is doing jack shit about refunding apart from threatening people with violence via u2u or with forum replies.
