i watched an import video lastnight
subaru impreze was running on methanol on tuned engine with 500bhp
they dumped the methanol system and installed an intercooler and was so much faster

I´ve talked to my preparator... and he said that i may get an extra 5 hp with a intercooler... not worth.... a lot of cars here run on methanol... specially in the drag competitions...

you'll get more than 5hp from an intercooler. cooler air mean more boost.

also where does the air/fuel ratio sit while on boost

It allways on rich... i prefer to ride allway on rich, this means - not blow the engine!

LOL - Mathanol, it´s lighter than gas, and much more expensive... but gives you a lot of extra horses!

ive posted pics and data up on my local forum and feedback is positive but evertyones askin why the hell u aint running an intercooler, if not for the power but the safety of not cooking your turbo

rememebr that it is not just size but the flow and pressure drop thats going to be caused by the intercooler. the VW/Audi/Seat 1.8 20VT intercoolers are good for flow

If it was someone local or that engine was in somethign a bit more standard then there would have been loads of I smell bull sh1t cries re the power claims from many of you.
