Both avalible on the contract I want except I have to pay £40 for the Samsung and HTC is free.
I know a few people that have said good things about the samsung but then the HTC is a pritty proven phone

What have you got at the moment? I haven't looked back since getting ny Desire S. The only problems I've had with it I think are a result of it being rooted.

Ive got the htc sensation xe (beats edition) and cant grumble. Just upgraded from an original desire. Cant beat HTC IMO

Galaxy S2 bought
got a good deal imo in phones for you
300mins, 500mb web, unlimited text £20.50 a month
Just had to pay £49 for the phone
Tried them both in the shop and found the samsung more userfriendly and as people only do 24 month contracts now I thought it best to go as new as possible
Camera is fecking epic on it

doesnt matter can change it to any rom out there for the desire s or even unroot it
