my car is delocked and now im at uni i dont drive it as much so im worried about getting flat batteries. ive had it a couple times and its a right pain in the balls.

what can i do to protect against this, i.e. an easy way or providing some power to my door locks. can i run some wires from my battery somehwere so i can jump it without opening the bonnet.

something like that, i dont have the money to spend on extra back up batteries and stuff

Make a "charging socket" behind the grill or something? Or have a socket that you can hook 12v's to to pop the door if the battert goes flat. Prefer that option tbh.

or! get anouther batery! get one of them things where the altinator will charge both batteries an the chances of both batteiries runnin out of juice is highly unlikely! i know people who have done it for systems ! infact a think you colu proberble fit a powercap to the locking system so thier will always be some power left for it

I think he means he has the car at Uni for him, but he doesn't need to drive to Uni etc, therefore the car probably won't get used all week.
