Ive got a corsa 1.2 engine no. (X12SZ)
it wont pull but it ticks over no problems at all and starts first time, the EM light isn't on.
i cant find out whats wrong with it any help will be good

When did you last give it a service?

Maybe because it's just an 8v

But seriously, a godd service will do it no harm

8v produce more torque

Maybe the clutch is shot to bits.

stick it in gear dump the clutch if it stalls its still good, I think thats the way or buy my 1.6 8v gte engine and convert it

^^^^ good point Put it in 4th gear and dump the clutch when ur parked up and remember to take the handbrake off

nothing wrong with the clutch, what else could it be,
fuel pump relay?

Everything needed to convert it...
I took the engine apart, sellers told me it was ready to be used but infact the head gasket had gone, so its in 3 stages atm, Inlet is there, loom, afm, dissy all the bits just I live in a flat so dont have the space for the tools needed

how much u asking for it? does the headgasket need replacing?
