How often do you do it?

If your on the track a lot, do you surgest after each track session?

if you feel they need bled, thats a sure sign.

I normally change the fluid 2 3 times a year, and bleed anytime i've been working on the brakes. I'd changed the fluid if i boiled it too, or suffered huge fade on track (pads normally, but could result in some toasty temps)

Bleeding isnt going to make old tired fluid better, thats prob water thats been absored - replace the fuild

No ABS, I have flushed the fluid on the 25th May this year when i replaced everything that goes with the brakes and used 5.1.

It's just that the peddle felt better then than it does now.

5.1 doesnt really mean anything these days.. you get high temp 3's/4s etc.

The fluid may have absored a bit of water (which compresses more than brake fuild).

May aswell try bleeding them - if nothing comes out, you'll have replaced some fluid anyway win win
