My missus hit a curb in August this year was doing 40 with 3 lads in the back of her clio and had started pissing it down...the steelie was shagged so i wacked the spare on...and said id look at it later...never got round to it...so told her to take it to the garage...well she did today...finally
and turns out the subframe is bent...
aint gonna pass its mot...
what shall i tell her to do ? lol
its got 47k on the clock little 1.2 s reg

find out how much a sub fame is, i dont think they are to hard to change on the clio

think the arm might need replacing too...weekend hero? cud be me lol...i'll ring the old renault garage tomora then lol

To get it done cheaper, don't go to Renault either. Go to a decent independent, or a good crash repair place.

bottom arm would need replacing too by the sounds of it, sub frame is easy to do too, tell her to get a price of the parts + labour and then decide
the renault garage i work at charges £70 per hour for labour if that helps

shes thinking maybe part exing now lol...just get rid of like...and get something better...as even if she pays for repairs shes gonna get something better 6 months down the line or something...want her to get something nippy for once! lol
