i bought a v6 setup off someone on ebay...
problem is, that i put it on, and the wheel wobble is terrible when i brake, like un driveable bad.
ive noticed when you put the disk on the hub, it sits loose, whereas my old disks, you push them over the hub and they sorta lock in and sit snug on the hub, if you get me, but the 288mm disks dont, they still have play in them till you whack the wheel on and tighten it all up, but they wont be sitting 100% right will they.
my old disks sat right as on the inside of disk it has an outter rim that obviously sits and lines the disk up with the hub good n central. the 288mm disk doesnt. is this whats causing my wobble??
cheers peoples

most people use spigot rings on the discs to flush fit them to the hubs but it isnt 100% necessary as the wheel nuts hold the disc still and in the right place. You would also benefit from braided hoses to give a less spongy feel to the pedal too and maybe a bigger master cylinder also.
I fitted a set of 2lt brakes with grooved discs and my car hated them so swapped for a set of standard 256mm gm discs and the car was fine. Are the discs brand new? They could be warped tbh.

i had exactly the same problem. Mine had brand new discs and spiggot rings and still couldnt figure out what was causing it so i took them off and bought 2litre brakes

Have you stripped down the calipers and painted them?

sorry people lol.
okie dokie, i will look into the spriggot ring thing! but i managed to centre the wheel up on the middle hub bit with some copper tube and they seem centralised enough, i think they are warped to shit and so am gonna buy some new disks, so yea they were second hand. ill let thee know the outcome. i got braided lines and they went on with the lot, they actually surprised me as they went on without problem, i was expectin to shred the solid brake pipe thread bolt bit seein as its only 10mm with 8 years worth of "fuk you im not comin off" attached to them lol.

get discs for a non-turbo fiat coupe, the holes will need filing out very slightly, but they sit on the hubs a lot better

wobble was due to nicely warped discs. the severity of wobble i would have thought i would see it in the disc, even a slight bit, but couldnt see anything, disc looked flat as a pancake lol. but new discs have done the trick!
