the other day i locked myself out of my car, so i tried to use a bent bit of wire down the side of the window to pop up the lock. but i ended up disconnecting the door handle mechanism. so now i cant open my door from the outside, it will still lock, but the handle just flaps up and down with no tension. ive took all the door stuff off and ive found a bit of rod thats bent at the top and had a plastic collar at the bottom. i think the turned bit clips into a hole on the back of te handle and the plastic rests on another bit of plastic lower down, but i cant figure out how to reconnect it. does anyone know??? cheers

yep undo teh 2 8mm nuts and take the handly out, then undo the latch bolts and you can just about manouver the thing back into place.
