t's quite a thick wire, trying to work out wher it goes haha.

Does anyone know?

I just wired it up to an ignition live and it kept turning the motor over when I turned on the dash lights.

Its the solenoid feed on the starter motor.
It goes to the 3rd position on the ignition barrel.
For when you turn the key to the start position.

Ad, the wie was aleady connected to the start..

aleady said ages ago to use the one on the nova's loom

Aye, he needs connect it to the start terminal on the ignition barrel.

Or just re-use the old one like you sayd

or just join that one to the nova one..

bloody fiddly as fuck that one to screw the bolt on
