Are these the ground wires for the ECU? If so where did you attatch them to?

Does anyone know where this chappie goes? Can't see if plugging into anything much....

Is this the oil pressure sensor wire? Does it plug into the oil pump because I think it came out from it when it was on the 1.2 enigne....

Do the black and red wires on the Corsa loom need to be attatched to anything on the footwell? Everything is looking a bit special in there at the moment...

top pic.

those are earths for the loom yeah. you know where the injector rail bolts on to the inlet manifold???? put them there, thats where they belong. take bolt out, slide it through them earths, re fit.

2nd pic, may be wrong, but reckon that is the ignition live for the ecu.

3rd pic, not sure plug it in see what happens.

4th pic, black and red as in what exactly? black with red trace or a black wire and a red wire???

could go check my wiring if you want, but its for a later xe with dispack, word.

4th pic, there is a black and a red wire on the Corsa loom that used to come from the ECU with all the other dash wires e.t.c... (the ones you match colour for colour) Was wondering if they need to be wire up to anything as they are + and - wires at a guess, though I think they are proberly the old ECU power cables.

Is it just a black relay type thing? If it is then it shoud be in the engine bay on a 2.0, they are behind the kick pannel normally in Corsa's, in Cav's all the relays sit in a little box in the engine bay...

maybe depends on what engine was in originally.

right, black on mine in footwell i wired from there into engine bay and it connects to ignition live for the loom, which, im pretty sure is the plug you got next to the battery on pic 2. pretty sure, not 100%

now this is where mine is differnent as mine is the later model engine. mine has the fuel pump relay in the footwell like a c20let loom, not next to the coil. reckon thats where that red wire goes on mine.

its too dark to actually see and the cig lighter i was using was gettin dangerously close to meltin my fuse box. will have a look at work for you tomorrow and take a pic.

langey - you know on one of your pics you had a plug near the battery that had nothing to go to????? bizarrely looks like the bonet lift sensor on my gsi i ripped to bits today. thought of it when i looked at it. might not be though.

ed i think you lop off the plug on pic2 and extend it to the black in the footwell, and the red one stays unconnected, so just insulate the end.
think thats what i was told to do.

the last pic is just a wiring connector, not the fuel pump relay. mine was long enough to put under the scuttle panel over to the gap behind the battery.

unsure about the one near your cambelt.

yeah, as myke says, im 99.9% sure i wired the black in the footwell to that in pic 2.

also sure as myke says that i had a red left over that does nothing. with mine being the dizzyless yan, all the wiring to be done apart from that black one was all connected in footwell.

one near cambelt, surely must be oil pressure sensor no?

ecu aint got no fuse. it go kabloom.

see the odd thing is trying to think back on what i did. if it was infront of me, and i was looking at your wiring right now in the car id know exactly what i would have to do and what to run where.
