My old GSI used to be lower than that but my saving grace was that the front splitter is rubber.
Is it an OE bumper or some sort of aftermarket fibreglass affair?

my psg2 bumper was very low. hit everything. verey impractical. couldn't get over speed humps, hit the floor if i went over a pot hole/dip/ drain cover. Had trouble getting into my drive, had trouble when it needed to go to a garage or for m.o.t. Really not suitable for UK roads. Too much to sacrafice just for looks

mines down 55mm at the front on cav GSi wheels, some times i wish it wasnt because some speed bumps are mountains!

I had my Astra quite low. I had Spax 60mm Front and 40mm Rear set up....
(the MK2 is also lowered 40mm).

dont know how much of a gap there was when i had the cordoba splitter fitted but it was damn low.
the g/f's driveway ripped the bumper clean off eventually, caught all the time on everything.
