Got a flip out screen to fit in that area of the dash. So it won't be on show.
Hints/tips please.

This is whats going in (not the dvd)

By putting it there, the heater is obsolete, yeah?
No hot or cold air from there anymore?
I was hoping ther'd be enough room where the MFD is to house it there and maybe modify the MFD surround a bit.
I'll have another look tomorra.
Looks like me cars gonna be off the road for a while

i'll see if i can knock something together, dont take me up on this though as i may not have time, u got outside dimensions for the cage?

I remember when that screen came out a few years back, i well wanted one!

Outside dimensions of cage are 18.5cm wide by 5.5cm high.
Depth of unit (if you need it- 18.5cm)
What you got in mind luv.
Might be able to do it myself if you let me know.

Would it be an idea for me to go to the scrap yrd and take a centre console to pieces to get to the frame for the headunit and work round that???

Alright Claire,

I modified my mfd pod so I could fit my screen into where the air vents are. Its not a slide out screen but I had to raise the mfd pod to fit over it.

I'm happy with the result!
