given it a bash? made sure buttons on both sides have been pressed down when you push it?
Check the hinges on the side to see if anythign is jammed in there, might jsut need some wd40 and a slap.

I get this because i wedged my sub against it, if you kneel on the back seat press the button down with one hand and then hit it hard towards the boot it should pop free and you can pull it forward.

yer took the grey material off. its held on with clips that push in. i took them off with a claw hammer so i didnt wreck them. the cloth material on the front comes off easily aswell and then the foam comes off. just dont lose any of the clips that hold the material on as the tend to ping off and go flying- on mine a little bit of plastic was broken but with a bit of fiddling it now seems to work fine.

when i bought my B there were no bolts in one side of the release arm things, and it had snapped on one side so hard to pull the seat forward!
